On Tuesday May 14th, HanStone Canada unveiled its newest collection, the Unearthed Collection, at an exclusive Media Lunch and Learn event at Coffee Oysters and Champagne in Toronto. Comprised of three new colours-Terra, Coast, and Storm– with its exclusive Riverwashed finish, the Unearthed Collection is a remarkable display of premium quartz that captures the raw beauty of nature through texture, colour, and design.
Coffee Oysters and Champagne was the perfect venue choice with a cozy yet chic ambiance. Guests were greeted upon arrival with a choice of sumptuous cocktails- carefully crafted and inspired by each of the new colours, and a selection of oysters on the half shell.
Design expert Arren Williams and good friend of HanStone Canada, captivated everyone with a presentation on Summer 2019 Design Trends focusing on Minimalist and Maximalist design styles. “In design we are no longer seeing one trend emerge at a time, in fact, we’re seeing multiple styles of design (some of which differ like night and day) that are very on trend. It’s like the Yin and Yang of design trends.” Minimalist/contemporary design incorporates rustic and handmade styles that tie in perfectly with earth-toned surfaces like the ones we see in the Unearthed Collection. The natural texture of the Riverwashed finish complements this trend by adding a unique depth to your surface. On the other hand, Maximalist design is completely over the top-mixing vibrant colours and patterns. As this look can be a little more avant-garde, white or neutral countertops prove to be a better option. Arren recommends any colour from the Boutique Collection.
Arren Williams can be seen discussing all the amazing benefits of HanStone Quartz in a Cityline TV segment called “Backsplash for Beginners: Upgrade Your Kitchen with a Simple Renovation.”
