Specifying HanStone Quartz surfaces, Hyundai L&C products in green building projects can also contribute to LEED certification points. All of the surfaces are low-VOC in accordance with GREENGUARD’s Indoor Air Quality standards and clean easily with no need for chemical detergents.
We recycle and reuse the majority of water used in our manufacturing process.
We partner with local waste management companies to recycle scrap and by-products into construction material.
The health & safety of our people is our priority. In addition to providing our team members the proper procedures, equipment, training, and control measures, we administer bi-annual hygiene surveys, air quality sampling, and annual medical checkups. Employee engagement is key to a healthy and safe environment that goes above and beyond set standards. Hyundai L&C focuses heavily on providing leadership training and the tools necessary to successfully build teams that work safer and more efficiently each day.
Our manufacturing facility is designed with a sophisticated HVAC system and a state-of-the-art dust collection system that collects airborne dust at the source, activated carbon beds, and a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer designed to control VOC emissions.

Across all departments, we strive to purchase materials, equipment, parts and services from local suppliers. We also source a large portion of our quartz raw material from within Canada.
